    All the best
Hi and thanks. I'll try that and it may resolve issue 1 and 2. But I believe the "switch user" icon won't come back since Asus may have forgotten to implement that... Maybe someone using the TF701 with multiple users can confirm that.

Edit: Where is the backup app? Can't find it anymore, was it removed with the update?

Yep, it was removed with the update. Smart, huh? Make it so you can't restore what you just backed up in order to update. LOL

This firmware update added another cr*p load of useless apps that I can't imagine ever using - Party Links for example. I tried to at least go and disable these junk apps but couldn't. The disable option is grayed out. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable this ZenUI junk apps somehow? My tablet is not rooted and with my abilities I don't think it is a good idea for me to try that route either.

I'd like to suggest a way to possibly solve the problem by removing your Google account, restart then ad it back. There are other things you could try but this may save some time. Nothing will be lost doing that.

If Leeshor's advice doesn't get things working again, I recommend reading through our best practice guide on how to handle the OTA firmware updates. It's advice will likely fix this glitch for you. The guide is linked from the Master Help Guide, which is linked from my signature, below.

I've only had the 701t for a few weeks and I've had a smiliar battery drain problem since the update. Everything seemed good after the update with limited battery loss, but noticed after the 2nd day that the battery seemed to be discharging fast. It drained from 92% to 9% in 8 hrs spending 85% of that time in sleep mode. i checked the battery app which said 68% of use was by android OS. I've now done 3 more factory resets, 2 cold boots and reinstalled everything. After reading the thread here i'm not swiping the recent apps away using the side swipe technique, i'm just leaving them sitting in the background, and the battery seems to be draining at its previously slow rate. I've had other issues with a video chat app no longer having video, and no browser working with flash, but this is a known issue. As for backing up, i used to use app backup as well, does anyone have suggestions for alternatives so i can save on my bandwidth usage
