    Chargers?

HI all - I'm a new owner of a tf701 , bought from England ,but used around the world. Problem is.... I have a huge lump of plastic on the charger for the British System, live on the continent needing Euro-type plug adapter and once in a while flit off to the States and on to Australia. I hate the idea of having to carry all those bulky adaptors around and would like to source just the Asus adaptors to fit my charger. Trouble is that the Asus site can show you a picture of it but won't let you buy it- How stupid is that!
All the rest are replacement chargers , which I don't need to get into all the problems that can bring up. Any one out there have any ideas?
    Thanks Peter

Welcome to the forum -- you could check with Caseen - they are a supporting vendor here and carry compatible chargers.

Tell them what you have in mind and they should have some advice. caseen - Cases, Sleeves, and Accessories

Sorry - close but no ceegar ! That's a tf 700 - nothing listed for 701. Also looks like an after-market type. Any opinions about that?
    Thanks Peter

As I mentioned, contact them and tell them you have a TF701. Caseen have a good reputation here.

    I don't smoke.

So far Caseen doesn't seem to be in any speed to reply to my question about the charger- how has your dealings with them been? Ta Peter

Maybe they have a toll-free phone number? Check their site.

Also they have a couple of staff who are members of this forum - you could try PM (Private Message) option -

caseenBrandon & caseenMichelle are their member usernames.

I bought a 6 foot extension cable for my tablet from them over two years ago and it still works just fine.

There are other threads on chargers here on the forum, like the "similar threads" listed near the bottom of this web page. Or try a forum search (box near top right) "replacement chargers" .. etc.

Looks like your suggestion to contact caseenBradon etc is a dud too. Not a peep out of them in almost 3 weeks. Anyway, thanks for trying.

As a need to find item ... I finally found a Car charger that charges the TF701T at full speed (thank god). I found myself on a American Airlines MD-80 (Mad-dog) where they only provide power via DC, and I was grumbling damn ... how do I top off my tablet ....

Retracted ... after the second use .... it died ... (sigh)

I have one that's smaller than that and puts out 15v.
