Asus TF303CL no update or restore to factory settings or recovery

I have this problem My tablet does not want to update it now goes directly to Droidboot and got error

    *"installer device ignored"
"failed to mount device ''''/dev/block/sda1'''' as installer partition using fs_type ''''vfat''''"
    "installer device ignored"
    "no valid installer medium found"

Manually update also is not, nor restore to factory settings.
recovery through driodboot I get the same error message
I think the recovery file is corrupted. Has anyone new original recovery img file?

    Welcome to the forum

There are less than a handful of tf303 owners here & they would not be permitted to post the recovery.img even if they had it.

I suggest you download the firmware from Asus & try a manual install. If that doesn't work, then register with Asus and arrange a warranty repair.

PLEASE Search for existing threads before posting a new one. Thanks.

Thanks You. I do not know if it is possible to repair a tablet under warranty. Because this tablet do the warranty is mostly rooted than beyond this can be undone I do not know if they can see it. And I also tried to put himself back recovery with fastboot commando's. I also do not know if they can see that.

    But I'm going to try.

I'm going to look for another tablet and go sell them as warranty work. I find this good tablet did not previously had the TF101 I vondt a super tablet partly because it is rooted and custom firmware. I miss the tf303cl.

The next tablet is one where a custum ROM can.

    Hi,
did you get anywhere restoring your tf303cl?
I ask because if I bought one I would want to be able to root it, and be confident that I could get into recovery and fix it if something goes wrong.

also, can I ask if yours has a UK, US or other keyboard layout?

    thanks
    Paul
