Unhappy Reboot is taking too long

I've gone from Crombi KK latest to Omni's (Zombi's) latest and booth have VERY LONG BOOT TIMES of OVER 1 or 2 hours. SO is there anyway to fix this. I got TWRP ready and I've got Titanium backup ready.

My boot times with cm nigntlies was creeping up, it was taking about 8 minutes. I just blew everything away monday from inside recovery after backing up with TI to SD card. I deleted everything. Every option cm recovery gave me to delete I did. I loaded cm and gapps onto another SD card and reloaded. My boot time is around 40 seconds now. I hadn't used my 700 in months other than loading a few nightlies. I think it needed a clean reset. Restored my apps and data from TI. I just installed yesterday's nightly OTA and its still working fine. Copy the whole TI directory to your SD card before you start deleting.

Any time you change ROMs it's a good idea to wipe everything and format /data/. Yes this means you will lose files, data, pics, music, whatever--unless of course you backed it all up. Every dev, geek, and enthusiast I know recommends backing up anything you don't want to lose!

What TWRP version? If it supports f2fs, and IIRC Zombi ROM does, you might try formatting /data to that. Made quite an improvement in my 300, and at least one forum member reports good results on a 700 with CROMi-KK.

Yup, since I only use the 700 to check the morning weather, stream hbo, showbox or popcorn time movies once a week or so. I got lazy and installed nightly over nightly every few days. Not the best way to do it. It will be interesting to see if L makes it to the CM for 700 builds.

Well it's been a while. Haven't been on here since last year. I started using CM11 Nightlies since then and it was going quite well, yet I find myself in a endless boot loading this time. Sigh... Now I gotta remember what I did last time.

When you say endless boot, is that a bootloop? On the Asus screen or the Cyanogenmod one?

As long as you can at least access the bootloader (TWRP would be even better) we have guides to help you.

Your nightlies updates may have outrun your recovery, which is a little behind.
    Can you access fastboot?
Try flashing TWRP 2.8.x, do a factory reset in recovery, then reflash your latest rom.
If that doesn't work, you may have to format /data. Either in recovery of fastboot.
