Does anyone have any word as to whether the Kingo Root tool will support the TF700T in the future? Thanks.

I did a quick google.

All Android devices supported by Kingo Android Root says that the ASUS TF700T is supported and here's a link to the download page:

Well now damn, I just read this:

For firmware version 10.6.1.14.10 there is Kingo Android Root (only works on Windows AFAIK). It seems to be safe again to mention this tool. Late last year their threads on XDA got closed because they used the vroot method which had a sniffer component that collected information and sent it to servers in China. They removed vroot from Kingo and worked it out with XDA. Their threads got re-opened in December. So most likely Kingo is safe to use - you be the judge of that

So I downloaded it, installed it and ran it and it did indeed root my TF700. Figured since I can't unlock it I may as well root and at least be able to make some changes to XBMC so I can run mysql on a PC and sync all my XBMC devices to one server.

Wonder if a malware scanner would tell us anything....

There had been an issue with Kingo several versions ago that has since been resolved. Yet another new version of the program was released just yesterday.

If only someone would write something that would REALLY unlock my tablet.....

Got a quick question...

I rooted with Kingo

Now I want to full factory restore, I will loose root, can I then use Kingo to root again?

Or should I use it to unroot first and then FFR then root again???

Do you mean just the basic data wipe, or are you flashing firmware? A basic factory reset should not unroot you. I have done many since being rooted. A flash of firmware may unroot you...you can always try rootkeeper from the playstore.

No flashing involved just a Vol down button and Power button then full wipe...do you loose root?
