You didn't need to root at all just flash and it is pre rooted. I have tried flashing all sorts of major custom Roms but always go back to the Asus look because it is so great.
On another topic, I saw you, frenziedfemale over at the nexus 4 forum and wondered if you have rooted that device as well. I will be getting mine tomorrow and already know what I will be flashing.

This happens every time I boot up:
"Install SuperUser - The binary is out of date."
I update it & it says OK. Reboot & it wants to do it again.
I've got SuperUser + SuperSU + Voodoo OTA installed. Do I have to get rid of one of them?

IIf you are on the cromi x ROM I would factory reset and reflash the ROM. Supersu is installed by default and voodoo is not needed. Installing two superuser apps isn't a good idea. Everything should work after flashing and setting up in the aroma installer nothing needs to be done extra

Thanks Gtanner00. I just installed cromi yesterday. Not sure if I installed voodoo or something else did. For now I will remove voodoo & see how it goes.

Removed Voodoo. Rebooted. Got a message, "SuperUser granted to SU". Open the SuperUser app & I still get "Superuser binary (su) must be updated". I install it. Goes OK, reboot, then the same thing happens.
Does that mean I have to start again?
-
So I have uninstalled SuperUser as well. The only one loaded now is SuperSU. Seems to be OK. I can get root access. No more binary updates happening when opening SuperSU. It was superuser that wanted updating. Removed it then supersu wanted updating but failed. Now it seems to have settled down.

' that is exactly what I thought. Multiple apps doing the same thing is never good.
Enjoy Cromi X

I love the phone. I did root it but the 4.3 OTA update "unrooted" the phone. The great minds have since figured out how to reroot but I haven't done it yet. If you are going to ROM it, root and ROM before you update to 4.3.
Sorry...everyone back on topic now!

There is a v5.0.3 release now.
