Streaming videos out of lip sync.

I frequently get my streamed videos from various sources out of lip sync. Very irritating. Is there any way to adjust this?

Does the same video remain out of sync when streamed on another device (computer)?

How are you streaming, via browser and flash, netflix, or some other app? Some apps (I believe MX Player is one) have a way to adjust the audio lag, but most others do not. I have run across some netflix videos that have a lag issue, but it happens on my iPhone, TF, Media PC as well as my wife's iPad.

I'm streaming via Netflix app, BBC iPlayer and browser. They are all out of sync to some degree. I stream the same things on my Windows laptop and there is no problem.

They will be out of sync if you use a bluetooth headset, spearkers or whatever. If you can figure out how to put in a url BS player has an option to compensate for the delay that works very well. Dice Player also now has this ability.

I get video from my WDTV Hub, WDTV Live and a Playon server running on my PC. No lag in audio unless I use BT headphones. Might be my biggest gripe about Asus TF's, BT audio sux.

I refuse to subscribe to Netflix after the way they raised their rates, close to doubling them, about a year ago. For me, it's no longer a good deal to get 1 DVD in the mail and streaming video for ~15.00 a month.

For the first time I connected my infinity to the tv via HDMI and the lip sync was still out. This is very annoying. My Blackberry Playbook did not have this problem. I have to connect via a VPN, could this be the problem?

I don't think connecting through a VPN would cause the lip sync issues. It would make sense that anything streamed through the VPN would lag a bit, ie both the video and audio would lag at the same time, but I don't know for sure.

On another note, I use netflix at home and at work and both places randomly have lip sync issues with various movies and TV shows on my Infinity. I can go for weeks with no problems and then all of a sudden have one be out of sync. Shutting down the Netflix app or even doing a cold boot has no effect at all on the lip sync. Playing the exact same Netflix content through my LG smart TV has no problems as everything I watch on my TV works great. I've watched hundreds of shows and not a single one had any sort of lip sync issue.

My guess is the cause of these problems is with the Transformer Pad and some sort of driver/firmware issue? I'd like to just blame the netflix app but since you have problems with streaming the BBC iplayer and through the browser my bet is on an ASUS problem that needs fixed.
