    Totally New to Tablets Questions

I have had an Android Samsung smartphone for about a year but never a tablet. I am looking at getting the TF700 and the keyboard dock. My question is - with the dock can I plug in a portable disk drive in the USB port and a full size SD card into the SD jack and then transfer my images from the SD card to the disk drive?

Also - are there web browsers installed on the TF700 when I get it or is this something that needs to be downloaded.

Thanks for your patience in helping this newbee.

Android on a tablet I the same as a phone, comes with he necessities.

The HDD to sdcard thing should work just fine. Some HDD have an issue with power, so the ones that plug into a wall outlet tend to work best, but USB powered ones do work for he most part.

Although I haven't tried that specific configuration yet, I'm sure it can be done - just cut/copy from the source disk in the included file browser and paste to the destination disk. I have used an external HDD that has its own power supply to copy files to the micro SD card.

The tablet comes with the stock android browser which is perfectly competent, although there are many others available for download - Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Dophin to name a few. Personally I've found that Boat is the best so far on the tf700.

I use a Toshiba 500GB, no power, I just plug it into my Prime key board USB and watch movies from it and so on. Smooth as silk.
