Firmware update 'brick' anyone else's Infinity tablet?

I have one of the new Infinity Transformer tablets and was prompted to update my firmware tonight. When I did, my pad will not boot up and when I hold down the power button, there's a pause and then what sounds like a hard drive spin for a second. I think my tablet is dead. Battery is completely charged and my green power light is on when plugged in.

    Am I doing something wrong?

I'm moving this from the TF101 to the TF700 forum but have no idea as I don't think it was a firmware update, but anything's possible.

    Welcome to the forum

Thanks, Leeshor. If anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear them. This happened after the firmware upgrade so I assumed it was related. I have a note into Asus Support as well, so hopefully I'll get some assistance at some point. Thanks!

Try holding the power button and the volume down keys together at the same time.

Same Issue for me, Volume down + Power did not help it only vibrates after 10-12 seconds, Screen stays black.

    Any fix for this maybe?

Sounds like it's turning on but not any video....try hooking it up to HDMI and see what happens.
Mine did this once while it was in power saving mode. I was pretty sure it was turning on just not comming out of sleep or something. So I pressed the power button, felt the vibration. Then pressed it again like I was turning it off and felt that vibration. Figured now it might be turned off so I connected the charger, knowing that this turns it on, and it powered up and came on! So, how do you figure out if it's off or on?? Press the power button, feel it vibrate, connect charger. No joy? Pull the charger out, press the power button, feel it vibrate, connect the charger again. Could be your ticket out of the black screen of death....worth a shot - it's free to try!

Same problem here. I did the firmware update and now I'm not getting any video. I held the power and volume buttons together and I got a vibrate after 15 seconds. This is quite discouraging. I've had my tabletl for a whole 7 hours. Any ideas?
