Really poor performance
I just got my TF700 after returning my TF201 to Best Buy. Although the wifi is significantly better the Prime blows this away in performance. Its doesn't feel as smooth as the Prime and shows lag in areas like kinetic scrolling that were buttery smooth on the Prime. After running an AnTuTu benchmark the Infinity came in at an embaressing 4715. After running it 3 more times the Benchmark kept getting worse. My prime would score well above 1000. Anyone else have the same problem?

Do a cold boot, it helps a lot sometimes.

Nope. I just benchmarked my TF700 using antutu and got 12,338. And it runs "buttery smooth" too. Like the other guy said, try cold rebooting.

Wait until you get some Jelly Beans, it will be even more buttery!

Spilner, did you ever resolve your problem? I'm having issues with my TF700 (lags while scrolling during browsing sessions). Came across your post, and tried the cold reboot. Still have the problem, so I downloaded antutu, ran the test, and scored 4774. Anyone have any ideas, or should I return this thing?

I've just run AnTuTu and got 12,632, so it does look like a problem with yours. Is it worth contacting Asus?

Spillner:
I had low scores which improved dramatically when I turned off FORCE GPU RENDERING under developers options. Should be off by default.

Great tip, thanks buffalo_guy! My score jumped to 12,559 after turning off Force GPU Rendering.

Also note the 3 power performance options in the notifications pull out. The leaf is low performance for battery saving, the meter is balanced, and the flame is rock your face off.
