What are the correct/best formats and the best way to transfer them to the 700?
    Thanks

For music, I use Google Music. Install the Google Music Manager on your PC and it will upload your music to their servers (up to 20,000 songs).

Link up your Play Music app with your google account and have access to all of them when you are online. You can make Quick Playlists based on a song or artist (simiar to Genius in iT*nes). Also, make any song, artist, album or playlist available offline for when you are not online.

It also allows you to access your music collection if you are on any computer or other mobile device through their website.

You can most any music files that are not DRM protected, even iT*nes music.

For video, I can't endorse DVD Catalyst enough! It's an amazing program. I've used it for everything from converting avi/mkv/flv/mov (even DVDs, vobs, and iso image files!) for my kids iPods, my tablets, phones (android, blackberry, iphone), iPads, etc. I have yet to find something it won't convert from or to. I even do some audio editing and use it to convert audio from youtube videos as well. It's truly an incredible all purpose machine.

No technical knowledge necessary, just drag what you want to convert and select your device by name, the program takes care of the specs automatically.
