    update

Ok, for the good news. I can install and uninstall twrp by fast boot in my sleep now. The bad news is I can not get any Rom to install. Looks like it installs but it goes to a Asus logo and then after a few seconds it goes to a reboot and then opens twrp again.
I think the system files are either missing or damaged from the wipe data issue. I should have wiped data with twrp and not android. I have fast boot working and can access twrp 3.0.20 and most current boot loader. Is there a way to fix the file system with fast boot or twrp? And the tablet is unlocked.

That almost sounds as if your data partition is corrupted. Have you formatted data at all during this process?

    wrong wipe?

Yes, I did the data, cash, dev wipe in twrp. But, nothing changed. Still would not load any Rom. I am sure this is from the wrong wipe data. I followed the cm directions and it said to wipe data and use the menu. It did not say wipe data from twrp. Am I fubar now. Fast boot is working but rck is the only tab that works and that will take me to the Fast boot loaded twrp set up. Android and the other icon just give faitle error msg. If my system is corrupted is there a fix for the repair of the structure? Most rom's just act like they load fine but when I restart it goes to the Asus logo and after a fee seconds it redoots to twrp again. Nothing seems to install correct. 2.8 -3.0 twrp. All do the same thing. The only Rom that made me reload twrp was the cm junk. I will not be using that Rom again.

There is a different between "Wipe" and "Format" /data partition. Go back to your twrp, and look for the Format button and you need to type "yes" to confirm a /data format. It will take a long time to finish so plug your AC source in and let it finishes it job without any interruption. It may take 2-3 hours depending on your partition, good luck...

Hmmm, when I went to format it said updating partitiondetails. Failed to mount / system invalid argument ........done
Full selinux support is present not enabled
    Formatting data using make_ext4fs

    Does all that look normal?
After that what should I do?

Convert /data to f2fs, following @DB's Guide, and try to install a ROM (one that supports f2fs of course, both Zombi and KK do). Or try CROMBI-X resurrected, it will do the conversion for you in the installer.

Ok, sounds good. I will try kk it looks like it is nice and has good support forums. I will post back after my 4 or 5 hour download. Uhhhh, I miss my cable connection so bad. 512k is super fast here. The error I saw when formating data is normal?

Your /data partition format is good but your /system partition has a major issue. Most of ROM's script will format the /system partition before install the new OS so I think that you are good to install the new ROM. Otherwise, you may want to format your /system partition also, good lucks....

So to be safe on the next Rom install I should format the system also?
