    Best way to manage/handle photos

What app are you using to manage photos that you import from an outside source through USB or microdisk? When I connect my camera to upload to the ASUS it opens to Gallery and displays all the photos, but there seems to be no way to view them in full screen or to "Select All" to import and I must tediously select each one to save the batch and view them only after they've transferred to another file, which seems to be to a Pictures file that I found in the file manager and not in Gallery. When editing there, Gallery shuts down and I've lost photos that seem to be hi-jacked in a loop of "processing" with some notice that has "FX" on it, which I can only quash by rebooting and, after all that, the photo is lost.

In the old days of Picasa, I would view them in full screen even before uploading them to critically evaluate and save/delete as needed, then do some editing or cropping as needed, adding captions, and renaming the folder with an appropriate title. Is there anything out there that works like this?

Try QuickPic - in my Android experience it is the best photo app there is...

Good app, I used it previously and forgot to reload it after rooting and flashing to Lollipop. BUT, it doesn't seem to see my Nikon CoolPix S6800 on USB or if I insert the SD card directly and I still need to tediously upload the images w/ a file manager. Is there a way to set it to search for and external drive like this?

    K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid.

I either use my home gigabit lan via usb adapter or wifi network to my servers or use a flash drive depending on where. i am i have several places where the cat 6 cable is dangling around to connect. I don't like to use any additional sw. on my phones i just connect it via the micro usb connected to my server. since my servers are always on i use it to charge my devices too.
