storage - freeing up space question

In the storage section of my 700 under misc, there is a big storage for burstley or something like that.
What is this? Everytime i run clean sweep it is there to be cleaned. Can i just get rid of it in the storage section and be rid of it with no problem, and aid abetter browser speed? And is there anyother itims in storage i can delete, all together, is there a list posted somewhere of items not needed? Thanks

Burstly image cache is the folder that stores the ads and icons for games and such that you have installed. You should clean it up regularly but unless you get rid of the apps that are using it it will still reappear. If you are using an file manager you can delete the folder but as stated it will eventually return.

I would give you a general..."no"..you shouldn't just delete things without knowing what they are.. If you had specific file names we could help you decide if you need them. How much broom do you need to free up? If you only have 1 game installed you should have plenty if space. How much space is used up by the miscellaneous files?
You can use your file manager app to look through files and folders. See what is in them and decide on f you want to keep it

I can look through the folders in file manager, and i can go through the storage area and ask question until i know exactly what each and everyone of them are, but i still would not know, if it would be alright to get rid of it them.

This happens all the time, a user wants to know if he can delete something, and is told not to because he doesn't know what exactly might happen if he were to delete it.

I want to see if i can find a way around this catch 22 problem, by asking here on this forum, what are the things in the storage folders of your tablet have you deleted, that had no ill effects on your tablets use?

As far as i know i have not put anything into this storage folder, the only reason i want to delete in this storage folders is simply to clean the unit of unecessary file that don't do anything but take up space.

    Would it possible and prudent

Could someone start on this forum, a list of things, users have removed from there asus tablets, that they felt were unecessary, and did no harm other than making the tablet more efficient. If i am out of line with this, or this is just a stupid idea than forgive me, and moderator please remove. Thanks
