Gonna have to agree with you Tylor. I've been using it (instead of Chrome) for the past week. Very impressed! Making browsing fun again!

Knock, knock... Can I pop in? I don't have an Infinity, but I promise not to cramp anyone's style...

I just wanted to pass on the credit to Tylorw1 for this thread - as I said in the OP of the thread, he was the one who suggested it, I just responded to that good idea

Don't forget we are always open to suggestions here & the best way to make 'em if you have 'em is to post in this section...http://www.transformerforums.com/for...s-suggestions/

Oh... Before I go, on an app note, I have been using the LibriVox app a lot lately - via my Motorola Razr (recently updated to Jelly Bean, BTW ) - not only does it have an amazing selection of FREE audio books (read by volunteers, some of which are dramatised), but it also has an immense collection of radio shows that are now in the Public Domain.

Things like the original radio series of Gunsmoke. Or the BBC radio dramatisation of Asimov's Foundation Trilogy

Now, probably many of you are too young to know what I am talking about (I'm too young to remember the original Gunsmoke radio series - & I doubt it was broadcast here in the UK, anyway!) - but for those of us with more than a couple of decades under our belts, they might prove an interesting distraction.

I personally dont think its necessary unless you are downloading suspicious apps. Otherwise its mainly a performance drainer. You will see a bit of lag with an antivirus app because of the bad i/o in the tablet but in the end it is your choice. If so, I recommend avast! Antivirus. Use it on my desktop and on tablet when I start testing "Fake look alike" apps.

I think it is essential on a phone - maybe a little less so on a tablet because of the lack of ability to cost you money with high cost phone calls or texts - but I have one installed on every Android device. The research speaks for itself - with Android being open source & folks able to get apps from here there and everywhere, it is a real possibility to become a victim of malware. (Nothing like as possible as Windows users, of course )

Even the Play Store is not immune - although Google have taken huge steps to improve matters from their side.

I was a committed Lookout user until the most recent research came out - now I use TrustGo which is the oly Android security app ever to achieve a 100% rating in independent testing.

You know where the link is - but you can't see it from Tapatalk, because despite many requests to the developer, it still doesn't support the viewing of signatures and links...

Actually, I think it is indeed possible to see links, but Tapatalk doesnt render sites signatures, only its own.

    I hope that works ^^^

And yes on Android it is easily possible to get a virus, but if you are a techie person it is HIGHLY unlikely as you have encountered this stuff before, however it does impact performance a good bit. I only use avast! because it is one of the best anti-virus for computers and has more users then any other anti virus out there, thus making it likely that they will have more malware to test and block. But no program, no matter rating and such, is 100% able to block everything.
Also, since I flash ROMS, and have all rights', a virus would not really affect as I make backups every other day and do factory resets maybe 3 times a month. But for common users, it may be wise.
