I hope this update goes better than it did for some people when the tf300 updated. Hopefully Asus has gotten most of the bugs out. I have heard on some posts that you should
remove the micro SD card. Is that true? As I didn't do it when my tf300 updated and I never had any problems. Good luck to all of you out there in regards to this latest update.

I bought myself a T700 for my birthday yesterday. Seems like good timing.

When you get the update, let us know how it is running. Also if you update and happen to have lag try performing a cold boot, it may help.

Chuck, great timing on the tf700 by the way. Yes, I recommended removing the sdcard/s. Also, now is a good time, to tidy up unused apps etc..

It was 4.0 out of the box, now I've been brought up to 4.1.1, but says I'm up to date.

Congratulations to all of you that I have gotten the upgrade. I just got back from Walmart, so I haven't even turned on my tf700 yet. I have an advantage over you tf700 usages. I have seen what the update looks like because I also have or had a tf300. I am pretty sure that the update will be about the same as it was for the tf300. There were some things that I liked and there were a few things that I didn't like. Although I never had any problems with the battery and I have never hooked either one to the TV via the HDMI port.

Indeed it did come right after you posted that. Wish I had a "before" experience to benchmark against. The only non-stock app I've installed is MLB At-bat. I just streamed an archived game from yesterday, and well, I've had my first crash. I'll test again on a live stream later.

I really don't mind being ginuea pig though, so if there's anything in particular you want me to test fire away.
