    Asus Transformer Infinity UK store

    Hi everyone,

I'm sure this has been asked and forgive me for asking it again but, where is the best place to buy a Transformer Infinity in the UK? I've checked tons of online stores including Amazon, eBay, Play and some others however I've only found a few that actually sell it directly from the UK. They all start at about 380 for the 32GB tablet then they add 120 for the keyboard and then around 25 for shipping as well as 15 surplus charges and it all just seems to add up... I was looking to pay around 450 in total, give or take a few quid.

I have decided to go for the Infinity over the Nexus 10.

If this has been asked before, I would greatly appreciate any links. I am a little nervous about spending almost 500 on a website I've never even heard of so... If there aren't any links to other threads/websites, personal experiences would be excellent.

    Thanks guys!

Oops, with a bit more research, I came across this in case anyone stumbles across my post:

    Welcome to the forum

As you have found out, none of the major bricks & mortar retailers are selling the tf700 so you cannot demo one in anywhere like PC World or Currys - that's only available officially for 599 in the 64gb with dock version from Amazon - who sometimes appear to be relying on out of country, grey import, marketplace sellers pretty much, although they do seem to have official stock nowadays

I don't know why Asus are limiting their distribution in such a way in the UK, but there you are.

As the thread you linked to is really the place for this discussion & as your thread is in the tf101 section, I'll close this now.

    ADDED BY EDIT
I noticed today that John Lewis now list the TF700 on their website, so it may be the case that they also have the device in store, too. If so, it will be great as they will be the only bricks & mortar store where you can try before you buy.

I am guessing that Amazon had some sort of exclusivity for the launch of the TF700 which presumably has now ended.
