New to Android and the Transformer...help please

So i just bought The Transformer Infinity. Ive been wanting it for so long and decided hell ill just buy it.
I've never had a tablet and haven't ever owned an Android device.
First problem: I tried to download asus sync and after downloading the software it opened up a client to install it, it said succesfully installed but the actual software didnt install? weird.
Second problem: The idiot at best buy told me it can charge through my laptop...? Can it? I plugged it up and it wont charge through my laptop. If it can, is it smart to do so?
Third problem: I'm dropped videos in the videos folder in the transformer (through my computer and in the correct directory) and the Video looks amazing, but there's no audio =( am i doing something wrong?
    Help is appreciated =)

BTW...I LOVE MY INFINITY!!!!!!! Amazing AMAZING device =)

Re: New to Android and the Transformer...help please

In the notification area above the clock are a number of icons, one of which is the screen orientation icon. Slide those to the left and there is a speaker icon that is a mute button. Mine was selected and muted, it took me a while to find it...
    Hope this helps.

Is it possible that the player has cached them? Go into Settings - Apps and try clearing the cache for your video player.

I believe a store credit was offered with the Nexus 7 but I haven't heard of anything like that for the Transformers.

what app are you using to play your movies? Get BS Player. It works with everything.
