    TF700 using TF300 dock

Can this be used??? I have a TF300 ASUS pad which is brilliant but missed the higher resolution, wife has an Ipad 3 and hers just looked so much better on web sites due to the higher resolution. I have just brought A TF700 will end up giving my 300 to my daughter but would like to keep the keyboard if it's possible to use with the TF700.

Yes, but it will be loose since the infinity is thinner than the 300

    Just a word of caution...

Asus have stated that the tf201 dock will work with the tf700. They have NOT said that with the tf300.
For the tf201 dock to work, the tf700 has to recognise it & launch a firmware update to change the tf201 dock firmware to tf700 dock firmware. Whether this will work on a tf300 dock is questionable, never mind the inaccurate physical fit.

    I think you'd be better off selling your 300 dock & getting a 201 dock for $99

ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity | Specification

Actually directly from their website, Asus stated Transformer prime dock (Tf201) is NOT compatible with transformer infinity (tf700). they only say the tf700 will work in the tf201.

..although we ALL know both are interchangable, but i think they specifically mention this to sell more Tf700 docks.

It is the case that this is what is reported on the Asus website, however, E&OE applies here. The Official Asus representative has stated both here & on Amazon that the docks are compatible - contradicting the website, but stating the facts, officially.

In order to make your 700 sit correctly, I would get some Sugru and go to town with it. Just remember to use saran wrap or something to make sure it doesn't stick to the tablet.
