    Help needed after ROM upgrade..

Well.. As a newbie on this forum, I will throw out a thread that already might exist.
First off, I will apologize any mis-spellings as I'm from Norway and the help from any scandinavian forums for this ROM upgrade for my pad is almost non-existing or not sufficient.

So, I'm not an experienced software-guy, but I've managed to upgrade my TF700T with the Crombie-kk ROM by the help of a the mighty Google. (The post is not from this site)

Anyways, got it done from the USB-connection via my Windows laptop. And I KNOW there are threads out there about the boot-loop, but can somebody please tell me or give me any ideas on how to do the ROM from the beginning?

By going between forums, I've now accomplished screwing up the backup, by wiping all from TWRP. And from now on I would like to follow this thread until it's fixed. Sure, if anyone in here would be kindly helpful.

Installed ADB and TWRP. Loaded the new ROM to the pad and installed it. Now, all it does is boot-looping. (I did the ''bootit.ko'' from a thread in here without knowing what the *ell I was doing as a phanatic attempt to get it sorted)

Hail all droidsoldiers out there, that can help me on my way to a useful Pad again!

PS. I afterwords found out about the ''WW'' and and ''US'' - Still don't understand the difference, but I'll bet it's important..

    Anyone?

Ok, first fill in the blanks below:
    Bootloader version:
    TWRP version:
Can you boot the tablet into the bootloader (fastboot mode)?
    Can you boot into TWRP?
Does TWRP work just fine or do you get error messages?
    Which ones?
With the tablet in fastboot mode what is the return for "fastboot devices"?
With the tablet booted into TWRP what is the return for "adb devices"?

That will tell me more about what can be done.
About the WW and US SKU: You should always use a rom for your SKU but it is not crucial. The main difference is in the kernel WiFi modules. If you flash a US version of the rom you may have trouble with wifi connectivity in some European countries. But it's nothing to worry about.

Answer the questions above and we'll see what the next steps are....

Can you boot the tablet into the bootloader (fastboot mode)? Yes
Can you boot into TWRP? Yes
Does TWRP work just fine or do you get error messages? It appears to work fine, and no error messages
With the tablet in fastboot mode what is the return for "fastboot devices"? 015d324901601004 fastboot

"Key Driver Not Found": not to worry. Situation Normal.

Verify your CROMi-KK download's MD5sum. Then format /data in TWRP (this can take a long time, even an hour or more, LET IT FINISH). Then re-flash the ROM.

Bootloader is ok, but your TWRP version is too old. I would recommend this Kang Version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tran...rea51-t3049395
Flash it, reboot, then reflash the rom.
If you have done the required wipes (cache, Dalvik, data) you should be fine now.
BTW, you do not have the necessary driver for adb in recovery installed but that is a minor issue.
If you want to solve it install these: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2646279
    Good luck

TWRP 2.6 too old for CROMi-KK? Guess I missed that. That's been happening too often lately. I didn't PLAN to get this old...

Actually, you're right. 2.6.3 is the earliest version you can use for the KK rom. Although what he/she describes is consistent with flashing from an outdated recovery... Could be a number of other things I guess...
@Gullalce I would recommend anyway you try ZOMBi-Pop, the latest rom by sbdags. CROMBi-KK was not the best rom ever.
    So update your recovery
    Format data (takes 60+ minutes)
    Convert data to f2fs
    Flash ZOMBi-Pop
    You'll like the result...

    Okey :-)

So if I've understood this right, I will now update TWRP to the Kang-version. AND I will take your advice Droidb, and download and flash the ZOMBi-POP instead..

The new TWRP is now flashed to my pad..
    * Booted after the F2FS setup. The Crombi-kk started up, and the device is now fully functional

Going ahead with the ZOMBi-POP download and going to flash it..

    Btw, I'm a HE(man)

Allright.. Going the right way here, @Droidbound!! Thank you very much so far!

The ZOMBi-POP is now installed and booted up nicely.

But I have an issue, though.. Unfortunately, the process com.andriod.phone has stopped, but I think you have an easy fix for this? It pops up as soon as i press ''OK'' so I'm not able to use the pad in any way.. This pad does not have SIM-card..

Not able to load Settings, to to any alterations.

Went to Advanced settings in the TWRP and deleted what I think would be related to the com.android.phone-message in the ''data'' folder. As contacts etc.. Could not fint any SIM toolkit..

**** After deleting com.android.phone-something mms file it worked out!

Now I'm looking around and setting the preferences as I would have them as well as downloading my apps..

So far, so good! Thank you very much @Droidbound for your time and expertise in this case.. And to you too, @Kevinthefixer for your input.

Now, it's time to enjoy the pad again after a year of disappointment, swearing and mental illness due to that software-update from Asus that made it useless. Hope it will keep in shape, cause right now it's a new world in performance.

Again.. Thank you all Droidsoldiers out there, for helping noobs like me keeping our pads without having to buy new ''faster'' pads..

If I read your posts right you did change /data to f2fs. Between that and the fast Lollipop ROM you are set to be amazed at the performance of the tablet you thought was a dog. But did you say CROMi-KK booted AFTER you changed /data to f2fs? I was under the impression that CROMi-KK did not support f2fs.
