    You got it. I didn't say avoid KatKiss, I said avoid KitKat, that is Android 4.4. Nougat (or nougatella) is just fine. KatKiss comes in many flavors, Nougatella is one, it works fine on a couple of my 700s. If it doesn't flash correctly read the log output, maybe there'll be a clue there. Make sure you have the correct GApps, pico version, the others take up too much room. And check the md5 sums on the downloaded files.

    I've wiped, formatted, reformatted, data files and installed several times. The installation has not worked. I know the files are not "signed", so I skip that option. MD5 check? Log output? Can I do that from TWRP? I have no OS on the t700. No mSD on desktop. I will try to take a look from TWRP.

    I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. So, I'm getting the files again from my desktop onto a zip drive to try again.

    (It doesn't matter but it's kinda funny...I f2S formatted one mSD card, my T100 has a massively cracked screen so I can't touch it, the files I have on my second mSD card don't seem to work, the t700 will not boot into an OS - a blue progress line under ASUS goes thru then it all blinks and just sits on the ASUS screen. BUT no boot loop, like my other t700 sitting in its original box.)

    @DB or @Kevinthefixer

    After wipe, format f2s, the instructions say: "Go back to TWRP Home screen, and reflash your ROM" When was it flashed the first time in the process?

    I just assumed that you have a rom installed and reinstall it. You can disregard the "reflash" and substitute flash.
    You only have to format data once btw. IDK why your flashing fails, but if you formatted, then converted data to f2fs, you don't have to format again. Just wipe in between flash es. Keep a detailed log from your next attempt and post it if it fails again. That gives us something to check...

    My TF700T is factory mode, non modified, and with android 4.2.1 on it. Can I upgrade from 4.2.1 straight to android 6.0.1 ?

    If you have the 10.6.1.14.10 bootloader: yes. Just flash the latest TWRP recovery, use it to format your data partition, then convert it to f2fs. Flash the rom and gapps - enjoy.
