Can be updated to 4.2.2 JB? (TF700 Asus)

Hi guys, Iīm new in this forum.
    And I have a question.
I bought a Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 a few months ago.
This tablet come with Android IceCream Sandwich 4.0, and with "original" firmware, I can update to Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1.
But I read in official Android Home, I must see the last version of Android itīs 4.2.2
My question is This Tablet is compatible with Android 4.2.2? Asus continue working with this tablet? or not?

P.D I do this question because I want to Root my device, but I donīt want root if I can upgrade to other Android Version.

    Thanks for your answers.

    Welcome to the forum

Has your TF700 not offered the upgrade. You should have been offered to upgrade when you first set it up

He is saying he is already on 4.1.2 and wondering if he can upgrade to 4.2.2. The answer to that question is that until Asus releases an official update your only way to update to 4.2.2 is to unlock your bootloader, flash a custom recovery then flash a custom ROM. Other than that 4.2.1 is as far as you will go at this time. There are not a lot of differences though, so it shouldn't be just to update that you unlock your bootloader and void your warranty, you should have other reasons for doing so.

Somehow I read it that he didn't yet have 4.2.1. Getting late here.

I'm running Cyanogenmod's Android 4.3 version cm-10.2-20130823-NIGHTLY-tf700t, but it does require unlocking and rooting to get this point. I did the unlock and rooting when I was running 4.1.2 back in January 2013

@midimench: How about the TF700KL (4G/LTE support, different processor), is there any way of getting Cyanogenmod for this?
