newest version of cromi?

There us NO new Cromi. The next generation of Cromi is Cromi-X. Cromi is based on 4.1.1, CromiX is based on 4.2.1. However you must follow the instructions to upgrade. For you, all you would have to do is:
1. Upgrade TWRP to 2.5
2. Flash the 4.2.1 boot loader
3. Boot back into Cromi 3.4.7
4. Flash CromiX 4.3
When you flash a boot loader, you must always boot back into the rom for the boot loader to be completely installed. The 4.2.1 boot loader will work on either 4.1.1 or 4.2.1, so you can upgrade the boot loader and still use 4.1.1, meaning before you upgrade to CromiX, perform a nandroid backup. If something dont go right with installing CromiX, or you want to perform a clean wipe and want to be able to revert back to 4.1.1, you can. Also make sure you titanium backup all apps, and all internal data if you are gonna do afresh install. Also, to do a fresh install, just perform an advanced wipe of system, dalvic cache, and cache in TWRP and flash 4.2.1. All of your information, meaning data, will still be there but not apps. And the ROM will be freshly install stock, but all your data there, so just remember to backup using titanium.

There has not been person who has bricked their tablet going from 4.1.1 to 4.2.1 versions of CROMIX. Just follow the instruction s and you will be fine. Just make sure you have twrp 2.5 and you will be fine.

You update twrp using goomanager.
One link contains the boot loader and the stock ROM. The stock room does not include the stock recovery so it is safe to flash without installing twrp again and is pre rooted. The other contains CROMIX.
