    Hello

Anyone knows if the TF300 dock mobile is compatible with the TF 700T? Any sources or ensured information, please!

Re: Is TF 300 dock compatible with TF700

Yes..i am just using tf300 dock on my tf700.Only thing is that tf700 will move in dock cradle cos' tf700 is tinner than tf300.Just put bigger sponge btw cradle sides and it will be tight for tf700.

    I use a 300 dock with a 700, works fine, but.....

As mentioned above the 700 is thinner and slightly different profile at the dock housing, consequently it moves in the dock. I was not happy with this as it is bound to damage the dock connection eventually.

I obtained some self adhesive trim strip that is about 1mm thick and a nice dull colour (gray). I cleaned the keyboard dock surfaces with alcohol and very carefully applied the strip to both the back and front of the keyboard dock surfaces.

700 now fits snugly with no or very little movement. I have compared this to my sons 300 tablet dock and tablet and there is little if any difference now.

Not ideal I know, but practical and it works. The trick is to get the right thickness trim strip. I obtained mine in Halfords (UK), it is intended to trim the inside of car doors and so the adhesive is very efficient.

After about two months I have had no physical problems and no electrical/signal/compatibility issues.

    Well happy!

    Regards to all

    Ian
