Help rooting TF700 with Jelly Bean
Hi all,
I'm new here. I've a TF700 and some days ago it was upgraded online to Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and it caused that I loose root access that I had in my ICS.
I've read a lot of articles on how to root the JB, but I'm stuck. This is what I've done, please let me know if I did something wrong and which is the correct procedure.
1- I've unlocked my infinity using the program from Asus webpage
2- I've installed TWRP
But when I boot using TWRP and go to Install option to select the .zip to root the device, I cannot find the .zip filr neither in the local storage or microSD card, doesn't matter where I copy it, I cannot see it from TWRP. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong and that is the reason why I cannot see the .zip file to execute it.
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks in advance!!

Get rootkeeper from the playstore, but first you must downgrade to ics again to use this tool.
Good luck

Since you have TWRP, you should be able to see the internal (/sdcard/) or the external microSD as long as your microSD is formatted for FAT32. If you are using NTFS or exFAT, it will not work. I think TWRP 2.4.X.X supports exFAT, not sure if the TF700 has TWRP 2.4.X.X yet.
Then install the SuperUser.zip or SuperSU.zip.
Do you have the recovery flashable .zip file? It cannot flash an apk file.

Really I didn't format the SD, I've put it in the tablet after I bought it and it started to work. Should I format it as FAT32 and try? Why the .zip is not visible if I copy it to internal memory neither?
Could be that I need to install another TWRP version or it is not installed correctly?
I think that I've a flashable .zip, but just in case, where I can find a flasheable .zip to provide root access to JB?
Thanks in advance.

You cannot root under JB. You HAVE TO downgrade to ICE to root, even unlocked.
BUT! Since you unlocked and have TWRP installed - why don't you just flash a custom ROM?
I love CleanROM Inheritance and the dev just released a brand new version 3.4 and it's sweet!
Custom ROMs are always rooted and CROMI is so much better than the stock rom!! Try it!
But don't forget to make a backup of your current system in TWRP before you flash the new rom.
You can get CROMI here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2049274
TWRP has to be version 2.3.1 or later.
