HELP : Screen going half black

Yes crossing my fingers...since deleting and uninstaling everything yesterday, today has been problem free and with increased usage (now that I read the Polaris office thread and downloaded the free King office suite.....and loving it). The resident launcher isn't so bad that I think I 'll permanently stick to it !!!

well after a week of peace and quiet it's back..all of a sudden it went half black...had to cold reset THREE times before going away.........I don't like where this is going for a brand new tablet

I think a factory reset is the next logical step! There is a link in my signature. BTW - did you ever try Apex launcher? The reason I ask, is that one of our moderators had a weird problem of disappearing icons and converting to Apex fixed it. Worth a try, before doing the factory reset!

I would have to back up all my files and data first right? Not sure i want that yet since it was nice and quiet for a while there. I'm also hopping it may have to do with my new case that seem to make the dock disconnect easily without me wanting it to. Will keep you posted.

Right, and when you restore, don't allow Google to reinstall all your apps. It might be one of those that's causing the problem! Reinstall a few at a time.
