TF700 Dock - Discontinued??

I ordered my TF700-DOCK-CG from AAFES at the end of October. They infomed me last week that the keyboard was on backorder and that they were dealing directly with ASUS to resolve the issues and get their orders. Today I received my keyboard sent directly from ASUS and it is a TF500-DOCK-CG. So for me this confirms that the TF500 is going to be the replacement for the TF700 Dock. Not sure what the exact differences are from the TF700 Dock.
I can only assume that the reason they went to a single format dock for the TF700/TF201/ and upcoming TF500 was to standardize to eliminate confusion and to save money.

Just got my tf700 and tf500-dock. They fit together very smoothly, and seem to be fairly well balanced.
Charging and then will use ..... that will be the real test for me.

Never followed up on my previous post... The Poetic Flexbook 2-in-1 cover is an awesome value! Been using it with, or, without the TF201 dock (mostly with, beings it is so compact). Highly recommend it, all buttons, camera, slots, etc. are pretty accessible.

Well...this is getting ridiculous!
The recently introduced TF500 dock is now also listed as discontinued at B&H...but the discontiued TF700 is back in stock!

This thread just confused me more about what keyboard/dock I needed for my Asus TF700T so I decided to cut through all the crap and just email Asus directly
