Just to be 100% certain: Precisely what does "cold boot" entail on our tablet (Transformer Pad TF700T)?

Cold boot, dock your tablet if you have a dock...and unplug.
Turn off--turn back on by holding down Power & Volume down buttons at the same time.
Keep holding till you see 4 icons on your screen, release. Tablet will cold boot, you won't lose any info/data.

Do you have the latest version of Google Maps installed? I had updated it recently and started seeing a lot of force close errors on several apps. I uninstalled the map updates and went back to the factory version and that problem went away. Worth a shot.

If you have Google Currents installed, try uninstalling it. Many JB users were reporting issues with it.

Latest update broke my ability to stream 1080p. Not impressed. Not to mention a plethora of random crashes and reboots I get. Hiccups pauses. I make sure nothing is running i've cold booted I've tested files I've done everything it seems that something isn't right anymore since the last update. Not to mention the batteries die so fast nowdays you can't use it unplugged. Watch a 2hr movie and you've drained over half your battery.
