TF300T with docked keyboard, but no option to use on-screen keyboard

I know it seems contradictory to the purpose of buying a docked keyboard, but I would like to still have the option to bring up the on-screen keyboard without disconnecting the physical keyboard. For example, if I'm just hanging out laying in bed, the docked keyboard is not as convenient as the on screen keyboard.

I do see the option in the lower right corner of my screen to select the keyboard, but all that comes up is copy, paste, and selection functions. What's interesting is if I select the mouse icon on the lower left of the screen, the on-screen touch pad comes up, even though there's a touch pad on the physical keyboard; just seems strange that the same concept doesn't apply to the on-screen keyboard. I have to be overlooking something.

Any way to have the option of manually activating the on-screen keyboard with the docked keyboard still connected?
