Tablet stuck on logo screen, won't power off.
My tablet was not seeing the latest System Updates, so I tried method do cold boot then clear DM and CMclient. However when that did not work, I next tried to just do a factory reset. But now tablet powers on, I see the Asus logo, but not cold boot menu. I try to turn tablet off to use the volume down + power method, but tablet just turns itself back on within seconds. I mean by this I can press power button, and without touching anything tablet turns back on, but remains stuck on this logo screen.
Is there a solution to this? Has this happened anyone before? Better yet, would this be covered under Asus warranty?
Edit: I did download from Asus's site long ago to unlock device, but never done anything else. Never tried any ROMs.

Did you try 'hard' switching off the tablet?

Yep. In fact twice the unit has completely drained of power from being on. Then charge, turn on, same thing. Tried holding down power, tried holding down volume down + power, just wont go past Asus logo screen

When you use the Asus unlock tool it contacts Asus and a record of your unlocking the bootloader is sent. Your Warranty is void If you have unlocked. You are informed it will be voided as part of the unlock procedure. Sorry you are having problems with your tablet. I hope the members of the forum are able to help you get it back in action.

Well, this is sure is a lesson in paying attention in class isn't it? Did not know my warranty would be voided, and yes it does clearly say on top now "This Device is Unlocked". Very stupid mistake on my part. Sure enough, this explains why I could not and did not receive system updates. Now sitting on bricked tablet and two keyboard docks
