Questions about developer options

This time I did some searching before posting....

I found the developer options and also saw the warning sign.
But I want to change 2 things: disable animation, as I just want it to feel faster and I don't like animations.
They also seem to be NOT so smooth compared to an iPad.

Also I think I want to tune (lower down) the background processes, I think lower it down to 4.

These settings wont hurt I guess, but I wouls like to know some things:

1. The settings I don't touch, are they the deafault settings? Like not turning on the developer options?
2. Is there somewhere some detailed info about all these settings?
3. Should we really leave the setting alone? I could think of some performance tuning with these settings.

JeeGee The developer options aren't actually meant to be settings they are more like tools to figure out whats going on . You could try what you suggested but I really don't believe you would see much if any difference in performance .Mostly users only use the usb debugging option for the ADB connection.
