Which firmware do I have? - Development firmware?
Today I got my TF300TG back after returning to ASUS for repairing my reboot issue. It came back with a replaced motherboard. Happily, I started the tablet again. Pretty soon I noticed it wasn't the same as before. The corners turned red all the time, the movement was pointed out by a solid circle, and I noticed various apps for testing purposes. I assumed some development software was installed. So, I performed a factory reset out of the software. No change. A hard reset. No change. Firmware update, no luck, no update available.
Then I went into the specifications, which learn me:
Serial number: 11111111111111111 (ahum)
Android version: 4.0.3
Build-number: OPEN_epad-eng 4.0.3 IML74K OPEN_epad-9.4.0.70.35-20120704 test-keys
Unfortunately, I can't get into the normal modus of installing the tablet. And the option in settings "accounts" just isn't working (then it says: settings stopped).
Who can help me getting my tab back to normal?

I would call Asus support that you called to send in your tablet last time and discuss with them.

You should contact Asus as they left the test firmware on your tablet.

I contacted ASUS support. However, I was wondering is I just could download a firmware version from ASUS and do the trick myself. I get lost though in the software SKU version. OPEN does not seem to be a normal version....

TRANSFORMER FORUMS LEGEND
The firmware versions are basically country codes:
US - United States
CN - China
JP - Japan
TW - Taiwan
DE - Germany
and others.
Then there is one that is pretty uninversal, WW - World Wide.
I would try downloading this version, unzip one time. It will still be a .zip file. Place on a microSD card formatted for FAT32.
Hold VOL DOWN and POWER for 12-15 seconds until some small white text appears. Release both buttons and hit VOL UP within 5 seconds to enter recovery.
If it is successful, you will see the Android with some gears. If it is unsuccessful, you will get Android falling over with a red ! over him.

The info is a little outdated, but might work. LINKY
Just make sure to download the firmware for your TF300TG not the TF101, and use the newest update for your area (WW=World Wide, US=United States etc...) but the process should be the same.

Trying hard... But I keep on getting the Android falling over.... Any suggestions?

Did you unzip the file 1 time? If so, move that zip file to the /sdcard/ directory (root of internal memory) and try again. May help get it going.

The downloaded zip file unzipped was not a zip file anymore... So to be sure, I put the original zip file as well as the unzipped folder onto the sd card. So I have the following on it:
-) WW_epaduser_10_4_2_9_UpdateLauncher.zip
-) WW_epad-user-10.4.2.9
In the last folder it has a BLOB file and a META-INF folder

You should still have a zip file. You only unzip once (they put a zip inside a zip for some reason...). Just unzip it once and use that.
