    Big Charging Problem

My tf300 was charged together with the dock 2 days ago and on the 2nd morning when i started it, it was totally blank. So i try a cold reset, a pressing on power button for 60seconds and a reset button, nothing does comes out. Backlight every thing all none. Its just like a dead machine. I read through the forum and test out my charger and it turns out fine when i use it to charge my phone. I also tried to plug the tablet to the computer but nothing happen. So, any pros here please help me out. Don't really wish to go for RMA as this tablet is only 3 months old.

You said it was charged 2 days before. Was it plugged in when you tried to start it. If not do so for at least 2 hours and try to start it again.

Plugging it into your PC charges while off at 3% per hour. Not sure from reading your post whether you have followed the Cold Boot procedure correctly. Those instructions are found in the Master Help Guide, linked below.

Have you tried using HDMI to your TV to see if anything comes up on the TV while you are Cold Booting or restarting the tablet??

Added "Charging" to thread title to help describe the post.

S, what will actually happen when I plug the charger into the tablet? isit the power button will blink 'red' colour twice and went off? or the 'red colour' is keep on there until i turn off the charger? mine was the power button blink red colour twice and just went off. isit normal? i was thinking that maybe the 40 pin plug in my tablet have some problems and it doesn't charge properly.

There are only 2 things that you can try if you haven't done them - after that its return to Asus I'm afraid...

    1. Plug your tablet only into your PCs USB port with the PC switched on and your tablet switched off. Leave it connected to the PC for a minimum of 5 hours. Then go to 2...
    2. Disconnect from your PC and connect your tablet only to the wall charger & leave it connected for 8 hours.

Now try to turn on your tablet. If it doesn't work, there is nothing else you can do & you will have to contact Asus.
