[ Solved] Large File won't copy to my Micro SD Card 4

Just converted a dvd to mp4 which is size at 4.08 gig but when I try to copy it to my San Disk Micro SDHC Version 4 Fat 32 card, it states "the file is too large for the destination file system" on my Win7 Pro OS. The card still has 25 GB of free space so I can't understand why it's not working.

Any suggestion why am I seeing this error. I even tried to copy the file to CMD but didn't work, wouldn't recognize the file?

    Thanks

FAT32 will only allow a 4GB file size. That's your limitation. Reformatting the SD card to NTFS may help.

Odp: [ Solved] Large File won't copy to my Micro SD Card 4

There is one minor drawback to NTFS conversion. Most DVD players, cameras and camcorders will not recognize the card.

Formatting your SD card to exFAT will allow you to put files larger than 4GB on it and have no issues, plus the tablet recognizes the exFAT with no problems.

Thanks for the info, NTFS is working fine but if I have issues then I'll format it to exFat
