TF-300TG Random Reboot, Shutdown and Micro-SD problem

    Hi,

After replaced the display panel , my TF-300 starts getting random reboot and random shutdown problems. It cant recognize my Sandisk Ultra 32GB micro-SD too.
This morning, the unit returned to ASUS for checking again.

My TF-300 can read/write the Sandisk Ultra 32G card before.... I have tried another two Ultra 32G cards but TF-300 can't recogize the cards too.
I have tried the Ultra 32G cards on anaohter android phone/ tablet. Both are working and without problem.

#The ASUS customer service told me, alot of customer getting samilar problem with Ultra 32 card.......

TF-300 users, can you share your experience on Sandisk Ultra-32 card ?

For the random reboot/ shutdown issue, I did factory reset but it does't help.
No docking connected, no MicroSD inserted.
The device random reboot when updating the builtin application/ when the device idle for a while....
The device shutdown itself, when the device fall into sleep mode for a while. I have to press the power button few seconds to boot up the device again.

    Welcome to the forum

It sounds like your restarting problems may be connected to Internet access. I have a bunch of possible solutions in the WiFi link below.

    Hi Leeshor,

    Thanks for the useful information.

Yes, my TF-300 are WIFI enabled when reboot/ shutdown happening. .. But I don't have reboot/ shutdown problem in the past. .. . It is possible something wrong inside the hardware.

Anyway, my TF-300 already returned to ASUS for checking, I hope ASUS can lets me know what is the problem.

On the other hand, really no idea why Sandisk Ultra 32G card doest work on my TF-300 suddendly......

OH , I just found that, I post on wrong group. It is group for TF-101

After replaced the motherboard, the reboot/ shutdown problems are gone. The device can read SANDISK Ultra-32G microSD now
