Wi-fi settings issue

Ok I had wi-fi set to tune off when not in use, sleep etc. It seemed to take a long time to "wake up". I went in Power Saver settings and unchecked the box "Turn off wi-fi when not in use". Hows everyone set this? Leaving it on cause a battery drain issue?

Yes leaving it on during sleep will use the battery .

I guess the prolonged wake up time is normal then? Waht is a "normal" wake up time for the wi-fi?

Mine varies from a few seconds to almost a half minute.

AAM is the ticket for sure. No need to change any of its settings except to load on boot if it isn't checked. You need to tell your TF to NOT turn off WiFi during sleep. I have a connection to WiFi before I can even input my unlock code and a 2% drain over night.

OK so no need to check thr "keep wi-fi enabled when in airplane mode (or Blue tooth). start on boot is checked and will tell my TF to NOT turn off WiFi during sleep................ Auto airplane mode is running now ...correct?
