Bricked Asus TF300T
So I made the classic attempt to Root my Asus TF300T, and when that failed I figured I'd "Wipe Data" so as to give a try again from a fresh start. In the middle of wiping data, I shut off my asus...yes you're all yelling idiot, and if not I'm doing it to myself.
Now here's my delima, classic brick right? I get the Asus loading screen, and that's it...along with the "The Device is Unlocked" above left. My issue is this: I CAN'T GET THE RECOVERY MENU EITHER! sorry for caps, but I'm kind of getting scared. Holding volume down, and power doesn't give me the typical recovery screen (like it did before), instead now it brings me back to the frozen loading screen that I'm stuck on.
Please help me, it's a new tablet that I've managed to brick already.
Thanks,
Sam/GreatGeak

Update:
for something new, I tried using volume up and power...this doesn't bring anything up, but my computer recognizes a device, however can't find a driver for it.
This gives me a little hope, because before my tablet had no real way of interactive with my computer.
...it seems to say I need "APX" drivers...anyone?

I did the same as you, however I did not turn my device off it happened when I tried to step back to ICS from Jelly Bean. The result is the same, "The Device is Unlocked" and the white ASUS logo. I did try the power plus the up volume and I did get a response from my computer, so I will wait patiently with you and see if anyone has some sort of driver to rescue our tablets. Fingers crossed.

Cool, I'm working on this live, so here's my current progress:
Found a driver:
[ADB/FB/APX Driver] Universal Naked Driver 0.7 - xda-developers
You need to manually install that driver to your unrecognized device, if you don't know how, I'll get to you with that information later.
...now that I have a working driver, and recognized device, I'm semi lost as to what to do, and just trying random things.

Re: Bricked Asus TF300T
I haven't rooted my tablet, but have recovered from a "brick" like this on my phone. I think what you need is ADB from the Android SDK. This is a command-line that should be able to talk to your tablet as long as your pc is seeing it. With that you can issue a command to boot recovery. So.... Google search for info on installing and using adb to boot into recovery. Good luck!

I dabbled around with NVFlash, however for some reason every time I try to run it, it simply says "Unkown device found"
well...I'm stuck to that and off to bed, night everyone.
EDIT, after some quick research, I guess NVFlash does not support TF300T:

so, now I'm lost, and I think I'm screwed...any sage advice from some knowledgeable pro?

I used [ADB/FB/APX Driver] Universal Naked Driver 0.7, and I can now see my tablet in the device manager as an Android Phone>ASUS Transformer Prime APX Interface.
This is the farthest I have gotten so far. I can see it in the Device Manager but not as a drive or device with my other hard drives and devices. Any ideas?
I am happy to at least see the device in manager, but I am hoping that someone out there can help get a fix for this.

Not sure, all I can say is that when I do "adv devices" (simply a command listed), it gives an empty "List of devices attached".

Re: Bricked Asus TF300T
Hmm well if you can get adb to see it, I think you want to do "adb reboot recovery" or "adb reboot bootloader", and from recovery flash a new rom from an sd card. Not sure if any drivers like the one mentioned earlier will help?
Sorry I can't help more.. But I'm hoping to see an update on this thread soon today that you fixed it! I went through this with my phone and it was nerve wrecking. Adb the wouldn't see it, but I was fortunate to be able to get to the bootloader by holding volume down. I couldn't get to recovery because my power button was broken, but I was able to install a rom by giving it a specific file name on my sd card do the bootloader would load it automatically.
