    Removing Tabs

I know this is very simple but give me a hand here. On my TF300 how do I remove the tabs that build up as I go to various apps, bookmarks etc.?

If you mean the recent apps, there's three buttons lower left corner (from left to right)...back button--home button--and recent apps button.
Click the recent apps button and "swipe" or push it to the left.

Thanks eejit but that`s not what I was referring to.
At the moment I`m looking at the screen and it has 9+ "tabs" on the top which read "ASUS', "ASUS Shop", "Paint Ball Guns", ASUS Desktop", "Certificate iv Training", "Play to Win", "ASUS", "SIGN In", "SIgn IN" there are more.......
These I want to delete. Tapping on them and the X that shows only opens up the particular site.

Ok, do you mean in your web browser--tab buttons at the top, which are different pages?
If that is what you're trying to close, the small X on the tab should close them.
If you hit anywhere on the tab but that X it will switch to that page, but if you hit the small X-tab should close.
If that doesn't work-please post what web browser you're using.

Again Ta all. I`m using the Google browser. It`s a lower case g on my home screen. Yes these are Internet tabs from different pages.
Some of them don`t have a small X but a tap on the tab opens the page and the X is there. Tapping on the X does nothing. Holding down the X, again nothing.
But as I write, I`m trying it now, and just notice that a tap on the tab brings up the tab`s page and 3 little icons on the right all in the page`s address bar. If I tap the middle icon, a small magnifying glass, the page`s URL disappears. and then I can delete the tab with its X. I`m happy to do this but think there must be a quicker way.

    Re: Removing Tabs

Omg u have a widget on your homescreen with your bookmarks on it....
Long press any where inside that widget or tabs as you call them...

And without lifting the finger drag it to the top center where remove will popup after long pressing the widget
