    Accelerometer orientation

OK it works great for some games and then a disaster with others, Real Racing is great, the Glow Ball from nVidia works great but Modern Combat 3, it's 90 degrees off. Tilt down and screen goes left, tilt left and screen tilts up. Any way to correct this?

Not familiar with any of those games....but I went and read about ModCombat3.
Sounds like it's a phone app, not really made the jump to 'tablet' ready.
Have you tried turning off the auto rotate feature? Dunno if it will help, but it may
make it playable in portrait. If you hit your clock in lower right corner, auto rotate
is the feature next to wi-fi. Sorry I can't be of more help...

Yes it can be played without the auto-rotation but I believe it is tauted as for tablets too. And old PC gamer using a mouse so trying to get use to using just the tablet for games. May just end up with a mouse for shooters.

I don't have it installed, but I've read that Tablet Market is a big help for narrowing down what apps/games are tablet optimized.
course that's not really helping you out in this case.

There is an old method of calibrating the sensors that worked when people had this problem back in the old days, when the TF101 came out.

Restart your TF, turn it on with an extended screen timeout.. Hold it parallel to the ground, face up and do figure eights in front of you. About 10 times or so. See if that helps. Keep your TF as level as possible while looking silly.

That app is reading the accelerometer the wrong way. The wrong way works on phones, but is 90 degrees off on tablets. The only way to fix it is to fix the app.
