Please make sure that you will be able to get support under the warranty if something goes wrong. I am not sure from your post, but if you bought the tablet abroad and are having it shipped to Turkey, make 1,000% sure that the local Asus rep will support it, or if they won't, that you know exactly what you will need to do if it does need service under warranty.

In life, I learned that sometimes even when a manufacturer promises a "global warranty," the local distributors in some countries are not too keen on helping users that bought the device elsewhere. They will find all kinds of excuses to twist and squirm out of providing service even if you qualify under the manufacturer's warranty, or they will find a way of charging you a hefty fee for their participation. For your peace of mind, make sure you know who is responsible for giving you support.

Good luck with your medical studies!

the 101 had real issues with pdf, I havent tested any larger pdf with pictures on this TF300 yet but I dont see why it should handle that so much better tbh. cuz the TF101 was useless for it. I atleast could not find anything that didnt strangle the device totealy when trying to open a pdf that had just over 20 pictures some ghraphs and 120 pages text, any smal pdf was no problem.

I purchased office suite pro and it has 0 problem with pdf docs.
For note taking, i found an external Bluetooth keyboard for $20 online and it works like a champ with my 300. Big files only take longer, but not a problem so far...
Love my 300, it has handled everything I've thrown at it...I also don't expect perfection in technology like some folks.
    Good luck with yours.
