    Hi, I know this is an old thread but thought I would reply anyway just in case there are still some out there going through this.

    I had the same problem as the OP with my Tf300T about a year ago, after doing the reset option and a hard restart I was getting annoyed with the tablet to the point of ditching it for something else.
    Then i called ASUS Australia about it and although they claimed to know nothing about it (doubtful) they said to send it back to them under warranty, they installed a small app to recalibrate the screen and it has been good ever since.

    I will say that ASUS Australia were extremely good with the entire process, I sent the tablet to them from West Oz on the Monday they had received it and sent it back to me by the following Monday, so all in all one week to never have the problem again is worth it as far as I'm concerned.

    @linuxone66: User steinge is asking about the name of that calibration app, but from your post it sounds like it's not something available from Play, but an apk installed directly by the Asus service team? Is that right?

    I had the same problem and i solved it by sending the tablet to garanty.
    Learn to say 'no' to the good so you can say 'yes' to the best.

    Which firmware are you currently using? Have you tried the latest version posted on the Asus site?

    Hey Guys,

    is there some progress with this issue/s? I'm having sort of the same thing happening once in a while as I mentioned here: Unresponsive unlock screen & overall strange behaviour

    I did a factory reset couple weeks ago and it did help...but only for some time. I'm stil unsure if it's a hardware or software issue. I don't want to send it back to Asus only to get it back with the same problem coming up again.

    I thought I would add my experience. Following the last OTA update to 10.6.1.27.1, my touch scree became flakey. Sometimes fine, sometimes it would not respond or only respond in certain areas. Sometimes I could not even power it off. I tried resets and data wipes, but no fix. Tech support recommended that I send it in for repair, possibly replacing the touch screen module for over $200.

    Finally downgraded to 10.6.1.15.3 and it is behaving much better. Not sure if I want to try any updates after this.
