Welcome!

After returning a defective Acer a200 I decided to get the Asus EEE Transformer TF300T Tablet but I'm confused over whether to follow directions for TF300 or TF300T.
The model number in my "about tablet" says TF300T but I keep seeing TF300 on forums like this and xda....which root method would I use for the TF300T??
On one forum there are a slew of ROMs for the TF300 but only 1 or 2 for the TF300T...but in the posts some people refer to the tablet as TF300...I hope I am not confusing anyone...I just need to know which rooting method to use for the Eee Transformer TF300T...thanks!![]()

Yes, TF300T is the same as the TF300. There are some other variants that will be surfacing soon that have 3G and 4G
TF300T = WiFi only
TF300TG = WiFi/3G
TF300TL = WiFi/4G

ok cool...I was a little confused there...definitely do NOT wanna use anything or the wrong tablet...is there an easy root method for this tablet? I found a few posts on here and another forum but there were no clear instructions besides "download the bootloader unlocker, plug in tablet and type these commands"...

Check this thread: TF300 root avalable - xda-developers
Looks like you can root without unlocking.
Be sure to use OTA Rootkeeper to backup root before doing any firmware updates.
