    Welcome to the forum Mathias

It's not easy to determine what is causing the crashes as there are many possibilities. Is it a specific app or set of apps that are going bad and what exactly is happening as the definition of crash is different for different users.

The first thing that you may want to look at is any app you may have installed that created instability. You also might check to see if hard reset will help as it gets the junk out of the system. I have instructions for doing that in a link below and you won't suffer any data loss following those directions.

    Welcome to our forum Mathias!

What is your firmware build number? There have been some firmware updates and this may help your stability if you are not on the latest one.

That is the ICS version number, but in Settings - About - Build there is a number like XX-epad-9.X.X.X

Ok, that is the latest firmware.

If you do not have much data or apps on there, I would try 3 factory resets in a row. Then reinstall apps.

You can back up any app data using the ASUS App Backup app. You will want to back up any other videos, movies, pictures, documents, music, etc. that are on the internal /sdcard/ directory.

It seems that a large majority of us need to perform a factory reset when they get their new TF300T, after that everything seems to function correctly and all the lagging and app crashing goes away.

It's worth trying especially since you haven't spent too much time setting it up the way you like.

It worked for me, after I resisted for a few weeks.

    Hope it help!
