TF300 + Facebook flash games

Hey there, standard issue new to forum, searched everywhere, yada yada.... I bought my wife a TF300 the day it came out and she loves it but it won't allow here to play her Facebook games. It either won't load them at all or it is disgustingly slow in doing so and thus unplayable. We did install adobe flash player and tried a few other apps as well as the standard browser, Dolphin and Chrome beta all with the same results.

When I bought this tab for her I thought for SURE it would have no problem handling those games, but alas it does not play them at all. Is this standard? Or is there actually an issue with her tf300? I contacted ASUS and asked them the question but they were really no help whatsoever.

It runs ICS just in case anyone was wondering what version of Android it has.

So in summary, my only question is, should it or should it not be able to run Flash based games on Facebook?

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure anyone has been pleased trying to play games on FB, I know I gave up on it.

I don't think it's a fault with the tablet, it's probably more to do with wading through the content on FB.

The games there are even sketchy on a desk top sometimes, so who knows.

The Facebook apps are developed for desktops, as is the entire site. Whether they work on any tablet is going to be a crapshoot. When you take the FB site and the apps into account, I'm surprised it works on anything.

Flash created FB games will not run in Chrome. 1. It is a beta app, 2. It doesn't play Flash!

Flash is a little flakey - the more intense the requirement, the worse it will be. You could try tuning your settings to the highest performance & then using either Dolphin HD, Opera Mobile or any of the better, bigger browsers until you find the best one.

But you are right - there is nothing "wrong" with your device

She plays games like FarmVille and Indiana Jones and a couple others. She has actually given up on them since the tab won't play them which is good cause she is no longer spending 3 hours a day on them!

ROFL!!! That is hilarious. Well, I guess that's good. There actually is a similar game to farmville called farm story if she gets desperate enough. Hahahaha.
