If it is switched off. And I mean completely off (hold power button and select power off) then there should be nothing that can drain it over night. Is your tablet plugged into a dock at this time? Does it last very long when in standby mode? (Sleeping)
*I apologize for any spelng mistakes. I frequently answer questions on my phone. The content is (usually) good, but the words may not be intelligible. If you cant understand my post... check back later or call me out on it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. This is my wife's ME301T, we think that it was switched it off at about 30%, but when she switched it on it was at 0%. I have charged it up and will check it tomorrow, this may well be an 'operator error' we shall see. It's just that there was this thread about the device losing all it's charge even when switched off. so maybe I am over reacting.

Like you, sir, I have pondered how long I should put up with this "experimental" piece of junk.and additionally, why some continue to try to modify their machine for higher performance when the foundation is such a miserable piece of frustration. I get so weary of calling up an apps, watch it load, engage a couple of entries and get the message "XXXX has stopped working. WAIT, REPORT, QUIT". I'm surrounded by 100% Apple devotees and they delight in my anguish!

I can't guarantee anything but your device may be a lemon it suffered from a bad software update. The general consensus has been that these devices suffer from slow down over time but rarely have there been reports of apps force closing themselves all the time.

I'm sorry that you have had this much trouble with your device. Normally in this situation a factory reset would be recommended to deal with the faulty update. We have material in the master help guide to assist with this.
