I started using the newer 4.2 launcher I think getting to things is easier plus I also use a Nexus 7 that has it and now I don't have to think when switching tablets . As far as the tablet performance I cant tell the difference from the old launcher . I always use a stylus with it .

I personally prefer the 4.1 launcher as I get more immediate feedback without pulling down any menus, but thats just me.

Started using 4.2 in cromi ROM because the new cromi update let's you make all kinds of ui tweaks but only with the 4.2 launcher. The one reason I didn't like it was because you lose screen height but with the new options in the ROM you can hide the nav bar completely and use pie controls! YouTube it if u ate uninformed.
There is a dramatic difference with the extra space and it feels like the 10 inch screen is used to it's full potential similar to Samsung tablets with hardware buttons instead of soft keys

I use the old one for the reason of screen space and it is what I am used to on the tablet.

I stuck with the 4.1 launcher because it has the buttons on the side instead of in the middle. It makes more sense with the keyboard dock.

I've tried both, and prefer 4.1 myself.

I'm a septuagenarian. I went ahead and tried the 4.2 launcher. By the next day, I had forgotten that I had changed launchers, and, of course, don't remember what the old launcher was like. But thanks for reminding me that there was a change.
