Thanks for going through the trouble!

Do you find that your tablet simply "wakes up" on its own when you open the tablet? or do you also need to press the power button to wake it up after opening?

The particular model number of my keyboard dock is 15100-0304U100 KS. I wonder if there are different models of dock out there in the wild...

I do in fact, have to press the power button to wake, upon re-opening the dock. I am on Cromi-X 5.4 Rom. I have not checked to see if there are any dock-related configuration options to make it wake upon opening. Even on the stock FW, this is the way it has always behaved.
    Hope this helps. -Bruce

    Hi, Sabrina.

I tried it on my TF300 and did not see the issue. I have a lock on my screen and use a live wallpaper so don't know if those skewed the results.

I have had this TF300 only a couple of weeks...I also have a TF101 that I can't stand using anymore because it runs so slowly. Switching to the TF300 has been a relief but now I am concerned about the screen issues. I'll be extra careful using it.

I hope you can figure out what your issue is...I loved my TF101 but it is too undependable. I am afraid to root it, which seems to be the only solution for getting it to function normally (I have tried a factory reset and it helped for a while but it is slower than ever now).

    Good luck.

For fun, try disabling the lock screen, and you will probably know within a few days if you have the phantom touch issue.

I agree that the TF101 seems so slow in comparison. I finally knuckled down and learned how to install KatKiss ROM on my TF101, and it really has breathed new life into it. The difference is truly amazing. It almost brings the TF101 and TF300 close to the same level of performance.

I now have had the chance to play with a TF700 with its keyboard dock.

Guess what! The tablet wakes up when you open the dock. No press of the power button required.

That's how all Transformers are supposed to work!!

    Well. In my opinion.
