Average Mem and Battery usage?

Hi, just new here...

Just curious, but how much memory do you use on average? I gonna use my 300T for all kind of things. Some little games, as I am not a real gamer.
So would 16 be enough then? I gonna buy a 32Gb micro SD for pictures, movies etc.

And what about battery live? I will use it for XBMC remote, little games, and watch some series/movies. With the last one, is there a lot of difference in battery usage between streaming from my NAS of playing from the microSD? The specs say 10 hours, but can you really use the 300T 10 hours with normal use (balanced, internet, little game, etc).

I'd say that 16gb is plenty with the microSD slot. 64 gb cards are cheap these days & 32gb even cheaper.

I doubt you'll get 10 hours out of the tf300 battery without the keyboard dock with the wifi on & the screen showing at an average brightness - I'd say that 6-7 is more typical, but others may well disagree.

I think 16 GB is plenty of space unless you are into some serious gaming on your tablet. I have 2 GB of apps on my TF101, 64 GB microSD for movies and such.

I watched 8.5 hours of movies yesterday on my 20 month old TF101 and still had 20% battery left (low brightness and no WiFi, BT or GPS). Was on a plane with the window shades drawn so it was pretty dark and did not need much brightness.

TF101 advertised I think 9-10 hours of battery life.

cool, 8.5 hours sounds great. Going on a trip also, flight will take 11 hours, so a tablet would be handy.

You would probably get 8.5 hours n a flight with the brightness turned down & in airplane mode if you had the tf300 set to the lowest performance setting - the tf101 being dual core has better battery life in general than the tf300 & bare in mind that setting of "airplane mode" - wifi & screen brightness are the biggest users of battery life.

As far as class of card, then it depends what you want to use it for, but on balance class 10 cards are not much dearer these days than class 4. I would avoid the UHS type for use in your tablet. There are several threads about microSD cards here but one really big one - so you will find plenty of guidance & opinions on that subject.
