Full Screen flash Player Videos through HDMI
Hello all.
I wanted to ask, if anyone found out a Solution for the Problem, where you can't watch Videos (Flash Player) in full Screen through HDMI-out ?
Thanks in advance.

I cannot watch ANYTHING on my TF300T thru HDMi out. I have tried several leads , adaptors etc and it is just not recognised by the TV( I have tried 2 TV`s !) Looking on the web, this seems to be a faulty design by ASUS? One feature that swayed us to buy this tablet was the number of external connections, and big screen capability. It seems it is not fit for purpose, or am I being unkind ( or dim!?)

Sorry Jake, but the Transformer seems to have some issues around HDMI out & videos. Additionally, you do need to remember that Flash is unsupported under Jelly Bean & while it may work most of the time, there will always be instances where it just doesn't match what you would hope.
I don't think you have much chance of resolving this, to be honest...
And a big TFF welcome to both posters above

@ Janner 43, Thanks for your quick response, but I cannot accept a large manufacturer like ASUS can fit a micro HDMi socket ( and brag about it in ads!) and then expect purchasers to discard it when JB is updated. My disappointment is the fact that it will not pass anything thru to TV, of any kind. WHY FIT THE SOCKET??
Am I alone with this??

Hi, Ozz. I use the HDMI output on my TF300 regularly with no trouble at all (running stock JB). I use mostly MXplayer for movies, but I also see the regular desktop when not in an application. I can't say why it may not bee working for you. Sounds like you have a bad output. If the tablet is new, I'd return it.
As for the OP JakeRock- I do not use Flash for anything. I assume -your- HDMI output works for other apps, but not Flash in fullscreen? If so, sorry, can't really offer any advice there.

Hi Ozzie,
You should get something from your HDMI out
It will mirror what is on the screen, but Asus have made a bit of a dogs breakfast of their implementation of the copy protection protocol associated with HDMI called HDCP, so on the tf101 for instance, you can get normal browsing, reading, photos etc to mirror onto the TV screen perfectly, but try to watch Google Play Movies on HDMI & the screen is just blank.
Not meaning to be rude with these simple questions, as I see you have tried different cables, adapters & TVs already
, but have you...
1. Got your TV set to the correct input?
2. Checked any HDMI settings there might be on the tf300 running JB?
If you have then the only thing left to you is to do a Factory Reset (a couple of guides linked to that subject are to be found in the Master Help Guide linked in my signature) & if the problem still persists then you will need to contact Asus or your retailer under warranty as you will have a hardware fault.

@ BBEFORD, Thanks, I`m glad yours is ok! Do you get any info on 300 screen to show HDMi has shaken hands with TV?, and is there any order to connect etc.?
@ Jenner43, Thanks for help,Yes the tv is set up ok, no mirror of tablet atall. There is no mention in manual or on settings for HDMi so............ I will try Another tv tomoz, just in case both my Sammies are not liking the tablets company!
I will let you know....

Just a gentle reminder to folks experiencing "issues" with Adobe Flash on devices running Jelly Bean - the app you are running is unsupported & may well give unusual, unreliable or unwanted "issues". Adobe have stated that...
While Flash Player remains on Google Play for installation on Android devices that are certified by the manufacturer,
installing Flash Player on an uncertified device may result in unexpected behavior and can potentially destabilize your device. A list of certified devices can be found at Adobe Developer Connection - Flash Player Certified Devices. Flash Player WILL NOT be supported on any device shipped with or upgraded to an Android version beyond Android 4.0.x
So, to be honest, getting any sort of functionality from Adobe Flash on uncertificated devices such as the Tf700 & TF300 should be seen as a bonus and reduced functionality should be expected.
