    Asus Repair Timetable

    Hey guys,

    For those who have sent in their TF300 or any other Asus Transformer Tablet for repair, what is the typical time table to receive it back?

    The rep I spoke to said it would take 7 to 14 business days after the repair center receives it.

    Also, after the tablet arrives at the service center, how long does it usually take before it shows up as "received" on the RMA Support Tracker?

    USPS shows delivery confirmation as of yesterday, but still no activity online.

    They don't update the status until it's on the techs bench. Once it hit the bench if no parts need to be ordered it will usually be back to you in 4 to 5 days.

    how long have you had it and why does it need to be fixed. if it was still in the 3o days you could have got a new one instead of dealing with asus and there Repair

    I have RMA sent to me about 20 days ago...I was debating and still testing but now am electing to send out. Should I call them and get a new one?

    Mine took over a month to get fixed. And they never sent the shipping email. be aware that they ship signature required..

    I'm well past the 30 day return policy at Newegg since I got my TF300 in early May, so I have to deal with Asus unfortunately. I'm experiencing a few different issues. The first issue is that the right-side of the tablet is behaving in a bizarre manner. The touch screen keeps firing on its own... opening up the app launcher, etc. I tried doing a cold boot several times and a hard-reset and neither worked. I even tried doing a factory reset to wipe everything and the same problem was happening, so I think its hardware related.

    I also had a strange clouding/smudging underneath the screen. I tried cleaning the screen and was unable to get the smudging off, so it has to be under the glass. It was especially noticeable on dark backgrounds.

    To my knowledge, the RMA is good for 30 days from when you call in. So if you get it sent out, you can probably still use the same RMA.

    Man, I hope that's not the case with mine. Did yours need to have a new part sent in? What was wrong with it?

    Thanks for the heads up on the signature required shipping. Hopefully they'll send me a shipping e-mail so I know when it's coming.

    usually...when my TF101 out of power..then i can connect to charge...it will automatic START..and charge by itself...but today...when i charge it...it didn't start even the power charge is charge til really hot...how can i fix it? i buy it last yr..during thanksgiving on AMAZON...
    'should i get a new one...??

    I had a cracked LCD and sent it in on 9/10/12, it was delivered on the 12th but did update received until the 14th. Then it was a week before I got the email sent it the next day. A week later I called and they finally escalated the call and it got fix. I got a email monday but the fedex didnt pick up til tues and it came back today.
